Job Summary
Enforce garden rules and protect displays, buildings, and grounds as a Botanical Garden Attendant Guard. Duties include guarding assigned areas, maintaining order, and assisting in the detection and apprehension of miscreants. Ensure occupant safety per NYC F-03 Certificate of Fitness; bring a valid NY Driver’s License and NY Security Guard License; require at least two years of full-time security experience and a high school diploma or GED; work 4 PM–12 AM Friday–Tuesday; full-time with standard benefits.
Required Qualifications
- New York State Driver’s License
- New York State Security Guard License from the Division of Licensing Services
- minimum of two years full time security or related work
- High School Diploma or GED
- Indoor Place of Assembly F-03 Certificate of Fitness or ability to obtain within 90 days
