Job Summary
Prep molds by cleaning them with proper materials, parting them to ensure no damage occurs, and keeping the area free of debris to maintain mold quality. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes while detecting mold defects and keeping tools in good working order. Follow all safety and chemical handling standards, including PPE requirements, and complete required classroom and on-the-job training. Work a 10+ hour shift standing and bending in a non-climate-controlled fiberglass dust environment. Fluently speak, read, understand, and write English; high school diploma or GED required.
Required Qualifications
- Visa Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
- Must always follow all safety and quality standards, including chemical handling standards and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Must be able to operate all equipment associated with job functions
- Must use judgment when moving molds
- Must complete classroom and on the job training
- Must be able to detect mold defects
- Must keep tools in good working order
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
- Ability to work with fellow coworkers in proximity and in a team environment displaying mutual respect
- Ability to fluently speak, read, understand, and write English
- High school diploma or GED required
- Moderate lifting ability up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (maybe above 100 ambient degrees or below 10 ambient degrees in areas of production)
- Ability to work in a fiberglass dust environment and a fast paced, noisy environment
- Ability to work a 10+ hour shift standing, bending, reaching
Desired Qualifications
- Basic skills in forklift, overhead hoist, and computer skills preferred
