Job Summary
HVAC Outside Sales Representative responsible for generating business, developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients, and achieving or exceeding sales goals. Manages full sales process from prospecting to closing, including identifying prospective customers, scheduling meetings, preparing and presenting HVAC estimates, educating customers on energy-efficiency rebates, and handling post-sale follow-up. Requires independent work across a regional territory, ability to drive to appointments, build solutions for residential and light commercial HVAC needs, create multiple solutions and quotes, and navigate local permitting considerations. Strong emphasis on customer-focused communication, relationship-building, meeting sales targets, and representing Ace Hardware Home Services in the Boston area.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years successful outside sales experience in HVAC
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to sales appointments
- Able to pass a drug screening and background check
- Able to learn about state and local rebate programs and permitting requirements
