Job Summary
EHS Specialist needed in Dorado, PR to implement and enhance EHS programs within a manufacturing environment. Responsible for compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations through hazard identification, risk assessments, CAPA, ergonomics program administration (workstation assessments, ergonomic evaluations), and industrial hygiene activities. Maintain ISO 45001 compliance, conduct EHS audits and incident investigations, deliver training (new employee orientation, safety awareness, recurring compliance training), and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and other teams to ensure safe operations. Support regulatory inspections and engage with regulatory agencies, drive incident trend analysis and continuous improvement, and promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or related field
- Experience in risk assessments, workplace inspections, incident investigations, hazard identification, and CAPA implementation
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS compliance requirements
- Experience maintaining ISO 45001 Management System
- Hands-on experience supporting ergonomics programs (workstation assessments, evaluations)
