Job Summary
Drive a 26-foot straight truck to transport processed goods to retail locations and return salvage and supplies to the plant. Pick up corporate and customer donations as needed, unload donated goods, and provide high-level customer service to internal and external clients. Maintain vehicle records for maintenance, repairs, and state inspections while performing other duties as assigned. Requires a valid Massachusetts Class D driver's license, DOT health card, and ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Pay ranges from $19 to $22 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Any level of education with the ability to read, write and communicate
- Valid MA Drivers License (Class D) with a good driver's record
- DOT Health Card (MEC)
- Satisfactory results of all required background checks
- Ability to push/pull hampers of merchandise on wheels up to 250 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- Depth perception
- Peripheral vision
- Ability to adjust vision to bring objects into focus
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
