Job Summary
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for young children while teaching fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, and teamwork. Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment by communicating effectively with parents regarding player progress and maintaining equipment and safety protocols during travel to local schools, parks, and recreation centers. Participate in staff training, development meetings, and curriculum planning to support the organization's mission of developing children's skills and confidence.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
- Strong soccer knowledge and background as a player or coach
- Excellent communication, energy, and enthusiasm for youth development
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Positive, patient, and encouraging demeanor with children of all skill levels
