Job Summary
Monitor assigned patients continuously to ensure a safe environment, regulate access to care areas, and screen visitors for hazards. Stay alert to behavioral changes during low-activity periods and promptly notify clinical staff, your chain of command, and Hospital Management of escalations or location changes. Support medical staff in situations where a patient poses a risk and assist with restraints only as a last resort. Adhere to company and client policies, reporting any changes or incidents immediately. Overnights shift required; legal right to work in the United States and high school diploma preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable means of communication and transportation
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Ability to effectively speak, read and write English
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Covid-19 required for client site
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of security, military or law enforcement
- 1+ years in a healthcare or high-paced setting
