Analyze customer demand and inventory records to determine parts sufficiency, then develop action plans to rebalance supply positions. Initiate procurement of materials at the lowest possible price, preparing purchase orders, soliciting bids, and reviewing requisitions. Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability; negotiate and administer contracts while monitoring shipments for timely delivery. Perform schedule maintenance using the Facts Purchasing System, manage supplier reject notices, and process corrective actions and PPAPs. Monitor cost accountability, follow applicable laws, and consult with staff and vendors to resolve defective goods. Study sales records and inventory levels to develop strategic purchasing programs.
