Job Summary
Bosnian Interpreter for in-person medical interpretations in the Omaha, NE area. Fully bilingual interpreters with familiarity in medical terminology are sought to assist local clients. Independent contractor with flexible PRN hours, requiring availability M-F 7AM-5PM, transportation to attend appointments, and ability to use an online portal and print/upload vouchers. Must provide vaccination proof or exemption documentation and undergo background checks and drug screens. Prior interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Fully bilingual
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
- In-person interpreters only, must have transportation to attend appointments locally
- Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
- Must have access to a printer
- Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
- Background checks and drug screens required
- Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability
- Availability Mon-Fri 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed
- Proof of Vaccination or exemption documentation
