Bosch Floor Attendant

Keeps the packaging department areas clean and orderly, assists in operating packaging machines during operator breaks, and builds baseline knowledge of all areas of operation in the packaging department. Responsibilities include general cleaning and maintenance of plant facilities; cleaning magnet rooms and platforms for packaging machines; maintaining the melter/paint room; collecting and disposing of trash; monitoring and operating packaging equipment during breaks; reworking/re-labeling defective product; operating the re-melt area; detecting and reporting unsafe conditions; following Plant Safety, Environmental Practices, and GMP guidelines; performing other duties as assigned. Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence; able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10s and 100s; physical requirements include standing/walking/sitting, climbing or balancing, kneeling/crouching/crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
