Job Summary
BOS Coffee Machine Technician at La Colombe/Chobani seeks a mechanically inclined technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain brewing equipment in the Chicago area. Duties include serving as the primary face-to-face representative, coordinating with corporate, client services, and clients, maintaining service records in SalesLogix and MAS, executing work orders and service tickets, bench testing equipment upon delivery, refurbishing used equipment, coordinating parts/logistics, maintaining inventory in the van, and performing additional duties as assigned. Requires 1+ year experience with installing, servicing, and maintaining large industrial appliances (coffee machines a plus), ability to follow procedures, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong communication and time-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining large industrial appliances; experience with coffee machines is a plus
- Technical Skills: Ability to follow service call and installation procedures provided by management, with the flexibility to adapt to emergency situations and changing circumstances
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Multitasking: Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Time Management: Able to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently without direct supervision
