Job Summary
Operate bore equipment on active gas utility field jobsites in the Central DFW area, including loading and unloading drill stems, connecting and disconnecting reamers, and hand digging with shovels. Complete daily truck and equipment inspection paperwork, locate and mark utilities with paint, and install traffic control to secure work sites. Work under various weather conditions while maintaining OQ certification and Class C driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Must able to lift a minimum of 90lbs
- Employee must be able to stand a minimum of 8hrs
- Must be able to operate equipment on jobsite
- Have basic knowledge of how machine works and how to work on it
- Must be able to load and unload drill stems
- Individual will need to be able to connect and disconnect reamer
- Locate and mark utilities with paint
- Must be able to hand dig with shovel
- Must have the ability to work under hot, cold and rainy weather conditions
- Must be able to pass OQ and Safety training courses
- OQ certification (Gas Distribution)
- Class C drivers license
- Minimum 1 year experience operating
