Job Summary

Interface with clients, third-party personnel, and coworkers to clarify expectations and task requirements while adhering to all safety policies and ethical standards. Select appropriate personal protection equipment, exercise stop work authority when necessary, and maintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping. Operate high-pressure BOP and rental equipment, perform team lifts up to 75 lbs, and climb ladders up to 15 ft. in confined spaces outdoors in all weather conditions. Work 12-hour shifts on a 14/7 rotation with approximately 60% travel to field or well site locations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate/diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in well servicing, pressure control, pumping operation or similar oil field services activities (frac, coil tubing, fishing)
  • Ability and competency to run high pressure BOP/Rental equipment as may be needed
  • Basic math, writing, computer, communication and interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work with limited direct supervision
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including mobility, climbing, lifting, tool handling, and other physical demands described in the Physical Demands and Work Environment section
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs frequently, perform team lifts when required, and demonstrate 80–100 lbs grip strength for tool and equipment handling
  • Must have a valid, active state-issued driver license
  • Reliable telephone (cell phone) communication and transportation
  • Ability to clear eligibility on Axis pre-employment requirements
  • Receipt of proof of eligibility to work in the United States, as required by law
  • Must be able to work in confined or restricted spaces when required, including entry, positioning, inspection, troubleshooting, or service work around BOP and pressure-control equipment while following applicable permitting, atmospheric monitoring, rescue, and PPE requirements
  • Must be able to wear required PPE for the duration of assigned work, which may include hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, FR clothing, gloves, hearing protection, respiratory protection, fall protection, and other task-specific protective equipment
  • Must be able to work in high-noise environments and comply with hearing conservation requirements, including use of hearing protection and participation in baseline or periodic audiometric testing when required
  • Must be medically cleared, fit tested, and trained before using required respiratory protection, including H2S respiratory protection or working under air when required by job assignment, customer requirements, or site conditions
