Job Summary
Boomi Integration Engineer at YETI responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using the Boomi platform. Collaborates with the Integration Architect, Technical Lead, and Business Analysts to implement reliable, scalable integrations across SAP S/4, Salesforce, Shopify, MDM and other SaaS applications, and to consume REST-based APIs. Performs data mapping, transformation, and validation between source and target systems; creates and maintains integration artifacts and documentation; participates in Agile ceremonies and on-call rotations; and conducts unit, integration, and UAT testing while troubleshooting defects and ensuring security and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on system integrations
- 3+ years of development experience with Boomi platform
- REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
- Integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-based)
- Data transformations and mappings
- Experience integrating with SAP S/4 using APIs, IDocs, or similar mechanisms
- Hands-on experience using Postman or similar tools for API testing and validation
- Experience working with MongoDB or similar database technologies (NoSQL or relational)
- Familiarity with cloud and SaaS integrations
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience using Jira or similar project management tools
- Exposure to additional middleware platforms (MuleSoft, SAP CPI, etc.)
- Familiarity with API gateways and monitoring tools
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
