Job Summary
Boom Operator / Driver at New Castle Building Products in East Elmhurst, NY, responsible for safely transporting materials to client sites, loading/unloading between warehouse and truck, and unloading at customer locations. Operates boom crane to lift/move building materials, inspects and adjusts crane components, ensures load weights align with lifting capacities, maintains and lubricates mechanisms, and operates a forklift as needed. Requires NCCCO certification, OSHA 10, CDL A/B with Hazmat, 2+ years of Class A/B experience, and articulated/knuckle boom capability.
