Boom Operator / Driver

Operate boom to lift and move building materials from ground storage areas and trucks to top of building; inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions; determine load weights and check against lifting capacities to prevent overload; clean, lubricate, and maintain mechanisms such as cables, pulleys, or grappling devices; operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment; frequently lift and move material up to 80 pounds; contribute to a dynamic warehouse environment including order fulfillment; possess strong interpersonal skills for positive relationships with customers and colleagues; adhere to safety practices and attend safety meetings; perform other duties as assigned; must have Articulated Boom Crane or Knuckle Boom Certification, NCCCO certification, OSHA 10, CDL Class A or B with Hazmat Endorsement; prior experience in building materials a plus; able to operate in a warehouse/truck setting with a focus on safe material handling and customer service.
