Boom & Line Pump Operator

Job Summary
Drive the pump truck safely to and from job sites, set up outriggers, and operate remote controls to manage pumping operations. Clean and maintain pump equipment after each job, perform light repairs, and ensure proper hose and pipe management. Complete inspection forms, maintenance logs, and DOT logs while tracking hours worked. Maintain truck cleanliness and follow all safety policies. This role requires a valid CDL, DOT medical card, and ability to work flexible, irregular hours including shifts up to 16–18 hours. You must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb uneven terrain, and work in various outdoor weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL
- Valid DOT medical card
- Ability to pass drug testing
- Must meet DOT requirements for hearing and vision
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods (up to 16–18 hours as needed)
- Ability to climb, balance, and maneuver around equipment and uneven terrain
- Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold, and precipitation
- Ability to work flexible and irregular hours, including long shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Ability to safely operate pump truck and associated equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues
- Ability to set up and break down equipment at job sites
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience operating concrete pumps or similar heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of concrete pump systems and basic mechanical functions
- Ability to read and understand equipment and safety manuals
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Experience operating concrete pump trucks and working in construction environments
- Experience working directly with customers in a service-based role
