Job Summary

Bookkeeper duties include recording daily financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, processing payroll, verifying receipts, managing vendor invoices, preparing financial statements and bank deposits, and developing daily/monthly financial and statistical reports for management. The ideal candidate has an excellent head for numbers, is familiar with payroll software and MS Office, and demonstrates diligence, reliability, and strong communication and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy or related field from accredited institution
  • Basic data entry experience
  • Skilled in using MS Office and popular accounting software
  • Eye for detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Integrity and confidentiality; a position that requires one to maintain an entire organization’s financial records requires one’s moral character to be of the highest fibre
  • In-depth knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures, best practices and terminology
