Job Summary
Manage daily bookkeeping transactions for the Reconstruction division by ensuring compliance with financial policies and maintaining accurate records of all financial activities. Work closely with project managers to book subcontractor invoices, accurately invoice customers, and process accounts receivable. Calculate customer payment splits, issue subcontractor payments on Thursdays, and track Line of Credit draws and paybacks. Complete monthly checking account reconciliations, prepare financial reports for stakeholders, and handle customer payments via phone and payment links. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions and Excel within a construction environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience
- 5+ years of construction experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Expert knowledge and understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
- Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of the key drivers of profitability
- Experience providing analysis with actionable steps for operations
- Strong computer skills
- Proven strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines
- Ability to work independently
