Job Summary
Bookkeeper needed for a family-owned property management company. Responsibilities include processing invoices, payments, and receipts; handling payroll (including taxes and deductions); reconciling bank accounts; preparing monthly financial reports (income statements and balance sheets); maintaining up-to-date general ledger records; responding to inquiries from tenants and vendors; and performing administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry. Requires proven bookkeeping or accounting experience, strong Excel skills, familiarity with property management software (Appfolio a plus), ability to work independently or in a team, and strong attention to detail and communication.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of property management software (Appfolio is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
