Job Summary
Manage daily bookkeeping operations by purchasing supplies, tagging fixed assets, and processing supplier invoices while capturing discounts and managing debt levels. Issue customer invoices, collect sales taxes, and ensure prompt receivable collection through regular bank reconciliations and account audits. Maintain the petty cash fund, chart of accounts, and annual budget, calculating variances and reporting significant issues to management. Prepare financial statements for external auditors and accountants while complying with all government reporting requirements. Process payroll on time and provide clerical support to management.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Should be very detail-oriented.
Desired Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of Quick books Online accounting software package.
