Job Summary
Part-time bookkeeper responsible for recording transactions, reviewing ledgers for accuracy, preparing and filing financial documents such as income statements and profit & loss statements, reconciling accounts, organizing receipts and invoices, assisting with tax payments and returns, maintaining compliance with financial reporting regulations, and providing support to the finance department as needed. Requires minimum Associate Degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred), strong MS Office skills, and QuickBooks experience (Medicaid billing experience preferred). Must be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and work with minimal supervision. Health-related requirements and physical duties apply. Part-time schedule is 15 to 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Associate Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 - including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience using QuickBooks preferred
- Medicaid billing experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Pass a physical examination and immunization requirements after being offered employment, and complete a health assessment and PPD annually thereafter
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, pull, climb, reach, and perform repetitive movements of the upper extremities
- Completion of CCOR's orientation program
