Job Summary
Maintain all financial records for the school activity fund by accounting for all school-sponsored activities’ financial records, including general ledger, cash balance, detailed accounts, and subsidiary journals; process financial transactions in district-approved software; reconcile bank accounts and report reconciliations; assist with campus budget responsibilities; provide analytical data and reporting for district-directed projects; participate in audits with the district internal auditor; maintain professional and courteous interactions with stakeholders; stay up-to-date professionally and contribute to district goals; demonstrate proficient use of technology and adhere to safety and operational protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 60 semester college hours in business or accounting preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years general office experience
- Two to 5 years of full-charge computerized bookkeeping experience in a business or comparable environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Working knowledge of software applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting/bookkeeping systems
