Job Summary
Bookkeeper role handling financial reporting, daily sales and labor data, deposits, and payroll documentation for a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities include reconciling daily sales deposits and service charges, managing bank reconciliations, recording daily sales and labor data, and producing reporting as needed. Administrative duties encompass onboarding new employees in Paycom, Aloha, HotSchedules; processing vendor invoices and credits; issuing vendor payments; handling phones and guest inquiries; maintaining organized records of daily sales deposits and payroll documentation; and ensuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements. Required skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office, Sage, Aloha, and familiarity with accounting software, plus attention to detail, communication, teamwork, leadership, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This on-site role is located in Kihei, Hawaii (The Beach House Maui).
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sage, Aloha
- Aptitude to learn new computer software
- Entering new employees into Paycom, Aloha, HotSchedules as directed
- Assist in weekly check runs
- Provide general office support including answering phones and emails, directing calls, and handling guest questions
- Proficiency with accounting software and payroll documentation
- Ability to audit and correct timekeeping records
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
