Job Summary
Part-time Bookkeeper for a healthcare practice. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, maintaining general ledger, preparing monthly financial reports, assisting with ADP payroll processing and payroll-related reporting, coordinating with the CPA/tax professionals, monitoring cash flow, and aiding budgeting activities. Must maintain accurate financial records and support the financial operations of a medical practice with a focus on confidentiality and accuracy. Approximately 12-15 hours per week, located in Monterey, California, with competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting preferred, but not required
