Job Summary
The Controller/Bookkeeper will oversee financial operations, combining accounting and financial management to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records. Responsibilities include managing accounting functions, preparing financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing internal controls, and conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as a Controller, Bookkeeper, or in a similar financial role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
