Job Summary
Bookkeeper & Accounting Support Specialist responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP/AR support, invoicing, and collections across multiple client books. Maintains month-end close, prepares recurring finance reports and cash updates, verifies records for audit readiness, and ensures accuracy and timeliness of financial data for owners, CPAs, and finance leads. Strong emphasis on clean books, tight deadlines, high transaction volumes, and end-to-end ownership of financial integrity while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero
- Experience reconciling 3+ accounts monthly for at least 12 months
- Experience managing $100k+ in monthly transactions or 150+ transactions per month
- Ability to close books by day 10 or faster for 6 consecutive months, or manage 10+ client books simultaneously
- Professional home office setup and reliable internet
- Introductory video submission required as part of the recruitment process
