Job Summary
Conduct outreach to prospective guests, coordinate scheduling, and maintain contact lists and booking records to support production activities. Gather background information, biographies, and briefing materials for producers, hosts, and reporters while monitoring news developments to identify relevant sources. Confirm guest participation, manage logistics including technical requirements, and prepare booking memos and profiles. Track deadlines, facilitate teammate tasks, and resolve simple problems independently to meet VOA productivity standards and deadlines. Contributes to workflow improvements and adapts stories into English as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred fluency in target language (written, spoken) and deep knowledge of the target area, plus the ability to adapt stories into English as assigned, within the time assigned
