Job Summary
Mental Health Technician (Community Coordinator) in Waterford, VA on Sunday-Thursday 2:30pm-11:00pm. Coordinates and transports clients to daily activities, utilizes intervention and communication skills with clients and families, adheres to Joint Commission policies, collaborates with program nurse and clinical team on medication management, documents medications and client activities in BestNotes, maintains residence cleanliness and safety, participates in daily routines and treatment planning, and contributes to a compassionate, evidence-informed care environment within a Residential Treatment Facility. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite is preferred; knowledge of clinical terminology is desired. Education includes High School Diploma or GED with Bachelor's degree preferred; background checks and a valid driver’s license are required. Salary range $19-$23/hour with annualized equivalents of $39,520 to $47,840, plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's preferred
- Background Check: Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and other Federal/State background checks
- Valid Driver’s License with 4 years driving experience, 21+, less than 3 moving violations in 3 years, no more than 1 major violation in 3 years
- Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 20 lbs, walk/stand for long periods, climb stairs
