Job Summary
Bone Density Technologist (PD) responsible for performing bone densitometry imaging procedures per clinical/research protocols, interviewing patients to obtain medical history, positioning and preparing patients, ensuring comfort and privacy, analyzing scans, and maintaining data with QA/QC. Responsibilities include adhering to department policies, participating in quality improvement, and cross-campus rotations if applicable. Requires licensure/certification in radiologic technology or bone density, and post-licensure credentialing within 12 months; BLS certification and at least one year of patient care experience. The role is non-exempt with a Monday–Saturday schedule and on-site responsibilities in Marlborough, MA.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Licensed as a radiologic technologist by the state of Massachusetts; MSRT (with or without specific post primary credentials) OR a primary certificate for bone density – CBDT
- BLS certification
- One year of patient care experience
