Job Summary
Bond Lab Technician I at Materion responsible for bonding or de-bonding sputtering targets and backing plates; duties include cleaning and maintaining targets/plates/assemblies, operating hot plates and ion plater, performing complex metallic and epoxy bonds, reading drawings, maintaining paperwork and training records, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures. Requires the ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements, familiarity with SAP transactions, and keeping supplies and documentation up to date. Opportunities to work with target finishing and bond lab processes, while adhering to export-control requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of industrial training
- three to twelve months of related experience
Additional Requirements
- Export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology (ITAR/EAR) required
