Job Summary
Create, review, and manage PCBA BOMs based on schematics, Gerber files, and design documentation. Ensure BOM accuracy by verifying component specifications, part numbers, and manufacturer data while coordinating with design engineers to align BOMs with PCB layouts. Interface with procurement and suppliers to confirm component availability, lead times, and cost, and maintain BOM versions using PLM or ERP systems. Perform cross-checks for alternates and obsolete parts, support NPI by generating BOMs for prototypes, and collaborate with quality teams to resolve component issues while ensuring RoHS and REACH compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in process engineering and analysic BOM
- Strong understanding of electronic components and PCBA design principles
- Experience with BOM management tools, PLM/ERP systems (e.g.,SAP)
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design software (e.g., Altium, OrCAD)
- Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
- Good communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities
- Can read and understand technical document/technical drawing
