Job Summary
Maintain and service processing plant infrastructure across crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, tailings and reagent circuits; assist with installation, testing, maintenance and record-keeping of mechanical equipment; maintain detailed maintenance history in Pronto; attend call-outs per roster; conduct risk assessments and workplace inspections; perform routine inspections and pre-starts at areas of responsibility; complete training and LMS procedures; participate in OHSE discussions; train and mentor apprentices; offers a permanent full-time role at Fortnum site with 14 days on/14 days off roster, FIFO from Perth, DIDO from Geraldton, or residential options in Meekatharra & Cue; extensive benefits and inclusive culture; must meet pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening, and provide valid Australian driver’s licence and police clearance; diversity and inclusion emphasis.
Required Qualifications
- Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
- Experience working within a gold or similar commodity processing plant
- Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences
- Experience in gold or mineral processing environment
- Experience in Flux core, Arc, Oxy, Mig, Air Arc Gouging & Lancing (232 & XLR8 wire)
- Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desired)
- Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
- Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
- Excellent communication skills with a can-do, team-oriented attitude
- CN Crane or Telehandler Ticket (Desirable)
- EWP, Rigging and or Dogging HRWL (Desirable)
- Senior First Aid Qualification (Desirable)
- Poly welding (Desirable)
- C Class Manual WA Driver's Licence
- Right to work checks
- Australian national police clearance
