Job Summary
Boilermaker – Dubbo: Read and interpret technical drawings, execute fabrication plans with a safety-first approach; perform welding techniques including GMAW and FCAW, oxy/thermal processes, and air arc gouging; pass AS1554.1 weld tests; potential for mobile plant repairs; relocation packages available; extensive experience in fabrication and welding required; Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication; strong attention to detail and team-oriented mindset. Focused on delivering quality workmanship in a Monday–Friday day shift with overtime opportunities and clear career pathways.
Required Qualifications
- Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication (Australian Trade recognised)
- Extensive experience in air arc gouging, lancing and OXY/thermal processes: cutting, heating and thermal lancing
- Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
- Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, GMAW, FCAW (Multiple wire application)
- Ability to pass an AS1554.1 weld tests to the above techniques
- Experience in mobile plant repairs highly regarded
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
