Examine boilers, pressure vessels, and tanks to locate defects like leaks or weak spots, then bolt, arc weld, or repair defective parts using torches, jacks, or welding equipment. Align and secure structural parts to boiler frames following blueprints, while attaching rigging to assist crane operators in lifting heavy sections. Clean pressure vessel equipment, install refractory bricks in fireboxes, and shape seams or fabricate stacks to adapt vessels to premises. This role requires a valid TWIC Card, Driver's License, and NCCER certification, with a minimum of four years in industrial planning and scheduling.
