Boiler Technician

Job Summary
Boiler Technician responsible for maintaining, operating, and repairing heating and cooling systems; responding to routine and emergency service calls; maintaining equipment, tools, and vehicles; and installing/removing products. The role requires willingness to travel to various job sites, read technical manuals, and advance to Lead Boiler Technician after required tests, certifications, trainings, and licensing. Safety compliance, ability to work weekends/overtime/nights, and collaboration with inspectors and authorities are necessary. Training in MSHA, OSHA, and other programs is provided by Yearout Mechanical. Strong emphasis on documentation of maintenance activities, oil/gas/chemical consumption, steam/hot water production, and timely submission of timesheets and work orders.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman License
- Boiler Operator License (BO1/BO2)
- Preferably Pipe-Fitter (JPF) or Gas-Fitter (JG/JPG)
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- No Criminal Background
- Proof of American Citizenship status
- Ability to pass multiple drug and background screens
- At least 2 years of Mechanical/Electrical Experience
