Job Summary
Maintenance technician role focused on boiler operations, including online/offline boiler tube cleaning, repair of boiler tubes and equipment, and preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. Responsibilities include operating boiler-related equipment, maintaining and repairing boiler tube cleaning equipment, adhering to safety programs (LOTO, confined space, electrical safety), diagnosing and troubleshooting with maintenance staff, performing daily preventive maintenance on plant systems (steam delivery, water treatment, air handling, conveyors, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems), and documenting results via work orders. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 2 years’ experience with relevant equipment and confined-space/LOTO programs; preferred certifications in boiler, welding, or electrical fields; offers benefits and education assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (accredited) or GED equivalent
- 2 years’ experience with the use of forklifts, aerial-lifts, and various rigging equipment in maintenance activities
- 2 years’ experience with LOTO and permit confined space programs related to maintenance activities
- Preferred: boiler, welding, or electrical certification or license
