Job Summary
Drive to customer sites in the Orange County area to perform maintenance, emergency repairs, and installations on Raypack, Laars, Lochinvar, RBI, Noritz, Takagi, and Rheem boilers and water heaters. Repair or replace water/gas piping, flush storage tanks, and complete leak repairs on copper pipe while troubleshooting diagnostics for heating systems. Communicate job status updates with dispatchers throughout the day. This full-time position includes a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 4:30 pm with some overtime, plus participation in a rotating on-call schedule. Training is provided for apprentices.
Required Qualifications
- Currently have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must be 21+ years of age to be insurable by the company's auto insurance carrier.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- A strong team-player with excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to accept written and verbal direction from supervisors and dispatchers.
- Must be physically able to perform all necessary job responsibilities.
- Valid CA Driver License with a good driving record.
- Must sustain insurable status with company's auto insurance carrier while employed.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs (as needed)
- Must pass pre-employment Drug Screening process, clear Criminal Background Check and pass E-Verify Screening prior to hiring.
