Job Summary
Service boilers, troubleshoot heating systems, and perform preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial customers. Examine building layouts, coordinate on-site work, and document all job paperwork. Work with minimal supervision across varying temperatures and inclement weather, lifting up to 50 lbs and using heavy machinery. Requires 3+ years of boiler servicing experience and 4+ years in general HVAC work. Journeyman's or Master license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience cleaning and servicing boilers in a commercial / industrial environment
- 4+ years of practical experience in general HVAC work
- Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical control systems
- Understanding of fuel oil, natural gas, and propane
- Ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics
- Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
- Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned
- Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of HVAC 20's equipment
- Journeyman's or Master license
- Prior military experience
- HVAC Boiler Chiller
