Boiler Service Engineer

Job Summary

Conduct preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on customer steam power boilers and associated equipment while traveling 75-80% to sites in the US and Canada. Perform inspections, manage performance testing projects, and provide technical guidance on fossil-fired steam generator equipment, commissioning, and efficiency. Resolve complex technical and logistics problems, write detailed reports, and develop recommendations for customers based on findings. Maintain positive customer relations and ensure team expectations are met during assignments. Requires a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or Power Plant Technology, with the ability to work in remote areas, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Associate's Degree in Power Plant Technology
  • related field experience up to 5 years maintaining and servicing steam generating equipment
  • Must be authorized to live and work in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel 75-80%
  • Requires travel (air & ground) with short notice
  • Hands-on, mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
