Job Summary
The Boiler-Chiller Tech III/Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating Boiler-Chiller and HVAC Tech work, handling installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment including commercial boilers, chillers, pumps, and piping systems. They must perform essential personnel duties during emergencies, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Strong communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and computer proficiency are essential. Prior experience with commercial systems and EPA certification are mandatory, while a journeyman card is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting repairs/preventative maintenance on commercial BC/HVAC systems
- Current EPA certification in refrigerants
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman card preferred
- Basic knowledge of computer operation for energy management systems
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
