Job Summary
Operate and monitor boiler systems in an industrial facility, starting, stopping, and adjusting controls to maintain proper pressure and temperature; conduct regular inspections of boilers, burners, and related equipment; perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and safety; maintain detailed records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks; respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams; ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies related to boiler operation. Requirements include a High school diploma or equivalent and a Boiler Operator Red license; minimum 2 years of boiler-operating experience; strong reading of manuals, blueprints, and procedures. Preferred: additional certifications, experience with automated monitoring software, HVAC knowledge, OSHA training.
