Job Summary
Operate stationary boilers and stokers while monitoring safety devices and measures to ensure safe and efficient firing. Maintain daily boiler operations under contractual agreement terms. This role requires a New Jersey Department of Labor-issued license, Jersey City residency, and knowledge of varied stoker types.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a boiler operator's license of the appropriate grade and type issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor.
- Knowledge of the safe and efficient operation of firing stationary boilers and the varied types of stokers and their operation, including the several types of safety devices and measures.
- Jersey City resident
