Job Summary
Boiler Operator to operate and maintain boiler equipment and the truck/trailer used during Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining installation. Flexible travel to project sites; emphasize safety culture; operate sewer equipment, perform inspections, and assist with site preparation, line installation, and cleanup under Foreman guidance. Required to perform boiler pre-fire steps, monitor curing pressures and gauges, and manage below-ground confined space work; adherence to safety policies and SDS; effective teamwork within a union environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in driving the boiler truck/tractor-trailer
- Experience in construction environment, preferably with water or sewer utilities
- Ability to work in confined spaces and all types of weather
- Basic math for units of measure; ability to read maintenance instructions/safety rules
- English communication skills
