Job Summary
Operate high-pressure boilers, chillers, and absorbers while performing maintenance on boilers, pumps, steam pipes, and related machinery. Monitor equipment and system problems, compile water treatment reports, and adjust air handling equipment using the automated building control computer. Ensure safety, functionality, and efficiency for the energy plant, hospital, and associated systems. Requires at least five years of power plant operating experience or a four-year apprenticeship. Located at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs in Arkansas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or High School GED
- At least 5 years work experience in power plant operating
- successful completion of four year apprenticeship program in power plant operation
- equivalent within Healthcare or related field
- Boiler Operator: AR, within 12 - months
