Job Summary
Operate and monitor the Hospital's Power Plant for heating, air conditioning, and steam systems. Maintain fuel levels, perform sample analysis and safety testing, and determine preventive maintenance needs using specialized knowledge. Keep logs and records as required. Requires a Blue Seal Fireman License, five years of industrial boiler operator experience, and knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, and EPA regulations. This per diem role with varied shifts supports Hudson Regional Health's four hospitals, which deliver robotic-assisted surgery and AI-powered diagnostics across Hudson County.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Blue Seal Fireman License
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, EPA, and other applicable State and Federal Regulations including Safety
- Minimum of 5 years experience as industrial boiler operator
- Good communication skills
- ability to interpret technical data
- 20/20 correctable vision
