Job Summary
Operate and monitor the Hospital's Power Plant, managing essential heating, air conditioning, and steam systems. Maintain fuel levels, perform sample analysis and safety testing, and use specialized knowledge to determine preventive maintenance needs. Keep logs and records as required while interpreting technical data. Requires a Blue Seal Fireman License, high school graduation, and minimum five years of industrial boiler operator experience. OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, and EPA regulatory knowledge is essential. Flu vaccination is mandatory prior to hire. Hudson Regional Health serves Hudson County through four integrated hospitals offering robotic-assisted surgery and advanced diagnostics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Blue Seal Fireman License
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, EPA, and other applicable State and Federal Regulations including Safety
- Minimum of 5 years experience as industrial boiler operator
- Good communication skills
