Job Summary
Boiler, HRSG, and Packaged Module Engineer to support steam generation and air quality control equipment projects across power and oil & gas sectors. Responsibilities include evaluating bids and supplier documents against specifications, developing procurement specifications, coordinating with manufacturers, reviewing drawings, interfacing with other engineering disciplines, attending factory acceptance tests, supporting startup and commissioning, developing design calculations, and contributing to proposals. Requires applying design codes and federal regulations, with strong emphasis on technical writing, client interaction, and mentorship of junior staff. Travel approximately 10-25%, with occasional international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer in USA and/or Canada
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment
- Experience with US EPA regulations and how they are applied to industry, specifically power plants via BACT, Four-Factor, and other analyses
- Experience with emissions regulations and how to demonstrate their compliance via CEMS and EPA Part 60 test methods
- Experience with NFPA 85 and ASME Section VIII, Div 1
- Strong mentoring and communication skills
- Experience handling multiple projects/jobs
- Ability to travel 10-25% with potential international travel
