Job Summary
Conduct boiler house equipment operation, boiler house lab and process quality testing, and treat and deionized water production to meet operational objectives. Perform frequent rounds for process preventive maintenance, process observation, and corrective action. Complete safety checklists, perform operational preventative maintenance, take samples, and perform in-process testing. Change water and air filters, perform inventory checks, and assist other operators. Requisition parts and materials for the stores area. Requires an Ohio Stationary Engineer License and 1+ years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Ohio Stationary Engineer License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated self-motivated, self-starter
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing regarding the work process
- Ability to read and interpret data such as written procedures and data displayed on the DCS computer screen
- Knowledge of ISO, Environmental Health Safety and Security, Process Safety Management and Emergency Response procedures
- Fully understand the function and general mechanics of equipment and associated alarms
- Familiar with the area's electrical system, fire system and utility systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in running associated operating equipment
- Working knowledge of SAP system
