BOILER & ENGINE SUPERVISOR - 1ST SHIFT

Job Summary
Prioritize work orders and schedule mechanics based on immediacy and necessity. Monitor all production areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment, performing skilled maintenance including construction, welding, brazing, plumbing, and hydraulics. Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic equipment while maintaining refrigeration, production, and boiler systems through routine checks, lubrication, and part replacement. Arrange for required paperwork completion and maintain appropriate records. Participate in the HAZMAT team to ensure emergency preparedness and promote safety in all maintenance aspects. Comply with OSHA standards, PSM policies, and company safety procedures. Attend scheduled meetings and work 40+ hours per week in all plant areas.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Self-Motivated/ High Sense of urgency
- Able to perform under High Stress situations
- Work 40+ hours per week in all areas of the plant
- Good attendance record (Less than 3 points, for internal candidates)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- College experience recommended
- Be able to work all 3 shifts as needed
- Heavy lifting required
- Able to work in both hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to monitor and operate all refrigeration and steam/boiler areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery
Desired Qualifications
- Previous refrigeration/boiler and related experience preferred
